As an independent Finnish film production company, we champion organic filmmaking, craftsmanship and authentic storytelling without shortcuts.

Our mission is to shake things up and innovate fresh new ideas and methods that adapt to the changing needs of the modern film industry. Curiosity, courage and authenticity are the core values of Artesons that drive us to tell stories you might’ve never associated with Finnish films before.

We develop and produce films that might surprise you, thrill you, warm your heart, or even weird you out. Our focus is on internationally interesting films and subject matters, but we also produce films for the Finnish market.

We currently have two films in post-production. “Couple of Strangers”, a psychological drama/horror feature film that is being pitched at RIFF 2026 co-production showcase, and “A Land”, a romantic drama short film starring Amanda Jansson and Jon Henriksen. We also have a handful of new, intriguing projects in incubation.

ARTESONS BRANDED is our commercial film production wing for companies and organizations that are looking for bold new ways not just to market their products or services, but to captivate the viewer and immerse them into the unique world and values of the brand, creating deeper connections with audiences through narrative content.

What do we offer? Commercial short films, episodic content with multiple episodes, documentary-style films and other forms of narrative content longer than traditional commercials. We develop clear distribution plans for the product which might include film festivals, web, events, television etc, which allow you to maximize the impact and value of the content.

We don’t make familiar stuff. But we make the unfamiliar feel warm and cozy by wrapping it in a familiar box that we present to the audience. What matters to us is the story and the heart – everything else can be tailored to the customer’s needs.
